I love making handstamped paper goods. It is like therapy. You should really give it a try. Last week I got a request for Valentine's tags based on this:

I get all of my bakers twine, die cuts, glassine bags, washi tape and you name it from a fabulous Etsy shop, CraftyTheresaD. All of your items come so beautifully packaged...it is great to get packaging that is packaged.....
